Luke
Emmott

Founder & Managing Director

Luke founded Modus Vivendi in 2005, building on his extensive experience in home entertainment systems, as well as analogue and digital distribution systems gained from his time working on Sky Digital contracts and for the predecessors to Virgin Media.

Over the past 20+ years, Luke has led the company’s growth through strategic leadership, key staff appointments, and a steadfast commitment to excellence. Under his direction, Modus Vivendi has evolved into a leading force in the Audio Visual and Home Cinema industry, recognised for its high-quality service and innovative solutions.

Chris Bethell

Operations Director

After gaining extensive experience with a national Hi-Fi and Home Cinema retailer, Chris joined Modus Vivendi in 2007 as a trainee engineer. His technical expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering outstanding solutions quickly earned him recognition, leading to a rapid rise within the company.

Now heading up operations, Chris is responsible for overseeing every aspect of the installation process, from initial client meetings to final commissioning. He ensures that each project meets the highest standards of craftsmanship and performance, working closely with clients, architects, and designers to bring their vision to life.

Chris plays a vital role in maintaining seamless communication, troubleshooting challenges, and ensuring projects are completed on time and to specification. His hands-on approach and meticulous attention to detail assist in consistently delivering high-quality, tailored solutions that exceed client expectations.

Paul
Dall'Occo

Business Development Manager

Paul brings a wealth of experience to Modus Vivendi, having worked with both manufacturers and distributors throughout his career. His unwavering focus has always been on delivering exceptional customer experiences, ensuring every project meets and exceeds client expectations.

Beginning his journey in high-end Hi-Fi, Paul’s passion for audio has remained at the core of his work—whether it's two-channel stereo, media rooms, or fully immersive home cinemas.

Collaborating closely with architects, interior designers, and clients, and supported by the design and engineering teams, Paul is committed to delivering bespoke solutions that seamlessly integrate both aesthetics and performance. Every project is tailored to reflect the client’s vision while upholding the highest standards of design and functionality.

Eva Mukovnina

Accounts & Office Manager

Eva manages the operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across financial reporting, record-keeping, and payroll management. Her role includes monitoring accounting records, analysing financial data, and providing key insights to support business decisions.

Since joining Modus Vivendi in April 2022, Eva has brought a strong foundation in finance, holding a 2:1 Diploma in Business Administration with Accounting and Finance, along with years of industry experience. Her leadership skills, problem-solving mindest, and ability to streamline processes make her an integral part of the Modus team. Known for her attention to detail and ability to prioritise effectively, Eva plays a crucial role inj maintaining the company's financial health.

Rachel Miller

PA & Project Support

Rachel is the Personal Assistant to the Operations Director, playing a key role in procurement and ensuring the seamless day-to-day delivery of projects. With a strong background in logistics and operations, Rachel brings efficiency, organisation, and a proactive approach to keeping projects on track.

Since joining Modus in August 2022, Rachel has applied her years of experience in the logistics and operations sector, along with exceptional time management and customer service skills. Her attention to detail and ability to anticipate project needs make her an invaluable part of the Modus team.

Kate Emmott

People Operations

As well as supporting Luke, bringing up their 3 children, and her legal responsibilities as Company Secretary, Kate oversees the wellbeing and development of our incredible team, ensuring that everyone thrives within our supportive and dynamic environment.

With a degree in Psychology and as a member of the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development), Kate brings years of experience in Human Resources, having delivered strategic employee relations advice to key stakeholders. She prides herself on her ability to align business goals with the needs of our people, creating a workplace where both Modus and its team can flourish. Kate is passionate about shaping the culture where everyone feels valued, supported and empowered to reach their full potential,
